Stitch Type 401 (Two-Thread Double locked Chain Stitch)

Machines in this category are: Newlong DS-9C, DS-9A, DS2- (ii), Newlong NP-3 (ii), Union Special BC-100 and BC200, Union special 2200, Newlong NP-8, Fischbein Empress 100 – 101, Fischbein Empress 200 – 201, Union Special 80800.

 

  • 3-ply paper bag 40cm width and 2 x 3 cm long chain.
    Consumption per bag: 2.30 meter = 0.51 gram
    With 1kg of thread approx. 1950 bags can be closed.
  • 5-ply paper bag 50 cm with and 2 x 5 cm long chain
    consumption per bag: 3.0 meter = 0.66 gram
    With 1 kg of thread you can close approximately 1500 bags
  • Jute bag 55 cm  width and 2 x 3 cm long chain
    Consumption per bag: 3.05 meter = 0.67 gram With 1 kg of thread approximately 1450 bags can be closed.

 

Stitch Type 101 (Single Thread Chain Stitch)

  • 3-ply paper bag 40cm width and 2 x 3 cm long chain.
    Consumption per bag: 1.74 meter = 0.38 gram
    With 1kg of thread approx. 2600 bags can be closed.
  • 5-ply paper bag 50 cm with and 2 x 5 cm long chain
    consumption per bag: 2.28 meter = 0.50 gram
    With 1 kg of thread you can close approximately 2000 bags
  • Jute bag 55 cm  width and 2 x 3 cm long chain
    Consumtion per bag: 2.31 meter = 0.51 gram With 1 kg of thread approximately 1950 bags can be closed.
